Anchorage
Anchorage, Alaska's largest city is located in southcentral Alaska at the base of the Chugach Mountains along the coast of Cook Inlet. Anchorage stretches south to Portage Glacier and north to Eklutna, covering nearly 2,000 square miles, about the size of Delaware. With about 280,000 residents (nearly 40% of the States’ total population), Anchorage is a modern city alive with adventure, recreation, fine dining and luxury hotels all with the added benefit of a spectacular wilderness setting.
