Enjoy a six-hour guided tour to the entrance of Lake Clark Wilderness Preserve, home of Redoubt Bay Lodge and incredible bear viewing. This tour includes a flight 70 miles southwest of Anchorage to the entrance of Lake Clark. Flight time in your four to 10-passenger float plane is approximately 50 minutes in each direction, and is narrated by your pilot with the headsets provided. You'll receive a Redoubt Bay Field Guide that provides interesting facts about bears and a checklist of Flora and Fauna specific to this region. Relax and enjoy a homemade lunch on the lake or in the cozy lodge before your return to Anchorage.
Complimentary transfers are available from most major Anchorage hotels.
What To Wear Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes.
