Located on the southern end of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, Chinitna Bay is home to an abundant bear population that come to the bay to feed on the protein rich sedge grasses, copious clams and fish the late summer salmon runs. Listen as your expert guide shares tales of the resident bears and their families. Your small group will be lead to where the bears are the most active. You will have the rare opportunity to join these amazing animals in their natural habitat.

Tour Highlights: Wheel plane scenic flightseeing tour, beach landing. Bear viewing from beach on foot and/or 4wd vehicle with naturalist guide. Morning and afternoon departures with hotel transfers available.

What To Wear

Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes. For this event, please also bring comfortable walking shoes and a jacket that can shield you from light wind or rain. Don't forget your camera and binoculars for the many photo opportunities along the way.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
