Motorcoach Whittier to Talkeetna

Park ConnectionUpon disembarking your ship, please locate your luggage inside of the terminal before finding the Park Connection motorcoach located outside of the terminal. Your trip on the PARK CONNECTION motorcoach will depart the Whittier Cruise Terminal promptly at 9:45am. Please keep in mind that due to the Whittier Tunnel's scheduled Anchorage bound limited 15 minute opening, we are unable to accommodate any delay in the departure time from the cruise terminal. The trip to Anchorage includes sightseeing in route past Portage Glacier and then joins the Seward Highway which is a National Scenic Byway. Enjoy scenic views of the Turnagain Arm and Chugach State Park before arriving in Anchorage. Your motorcoach will arrive at approximately Noon at the Anchorage Museum at the corner of 7th & "A" Streets. You'll want to identify your luggage as you will be traveling on a different coach to Talkeetna, but our staff will store it for you until you depart. Complimentary admission to the Museum is included in the tour for those that have time. The Museum also features a fabulous cafe if you would like to enjoy lunch on your own.

Your trip to Talkeetna will continue on at 3:00pm. Please be prepared to board the coach 15 minutes prior to departure. Time permitting, photo and restroom stops will be made on your 112-mile trip. Weather permitting, excellent views of Mt. McKinley are possible. You will arrive at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge at approximately 5:30pm.


The Whittier to Anchorage portion of this service runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer and is a great option for passengers arriving on cruise ships into Whittier.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
