Fairbanks Historical City Tour
Take a tour of Fairbanks, the heart of Alaska's interior, in the comfort of an air-conditioned motorcoach. Learn about the culture of this unique city and its beginnings in the Gold Rush era. Tour historic downtown Fairbanks. You'll visit the University of Alaska Museum. Exhibit highlights include a 2,000-year spectrum of Alaska art, from ancient ivory carvings to contemporary paintings and sculpture, the state's largest public display of gold and Blue Babe, a 36,000-year-old mummified steppe bison. The museum also features an exhibit on the Aurora Borealis. As the tour continues, view the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, an 800-mile engineering feat built in the 1970's. This pipeline runs from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez and transports 25% of our nation's oil. This three and one-half tour is led by an experienced and knowledgeable driver-guide. The tour departs the River's Edge Resort at 8:30am and returns to the resort around noon.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
