The Fairbanks Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located at 400 Merhar Avenue, approximately seven miles from the Fairbanks Airport and a short drive from the downtown area. Built in 2008, the property features 114 well-appointed guest rooms featuring 2 queen beds, a 32 inch flat screen TV, in-room high-speed internet access, refrigerator, coffee maker and more. The hotel features an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness facility, gift shop, guest laundry and business center. The property also offers wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm. Please note, the hotel does not currently offer airport shuttles, and a taxi ride to the airport is approximately $14. You will also notice that there is not an extra charge for additional occupants, which is rare for Alaska hotels.

Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast from 6am to 10am with cinnamon rolls, coffee, bacon, fruit, yogurt and biscuits. Fresh baked cookies are also available in the evening at 8pm. A number of other dining choices are available nearby. Please note the special rates offering a savings of $80 per night Friday and Saturday nights, as well as $10 off per night on other peak season nights.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
