Alaska Photo Contest Alaska Tour & Travel has kicked off our annual photo contest for 2012 and we are now accepting entries. We are pleased to announce that this year's grand prize will be the New iPad 32 GB Wi-Fi version, a $599 value. What a great way to store, manage and display all the great photos you will take in Alaska this summer! The Grand Prize print will be awarded to the photographer whose photo best depicts Alaska's spectacular wildlife, scenery, people or adventure. The contest is open to visitors and residents alike. To enter, just email us your photo to photos@alaskatravel.com no later than October 31, 2012. Please include a brief description of the photo along with your name and hometown. We will post select entries on our Photo Contest Gallery at AlaskaTravelPhotos.com. Be sure to read all of the contest rules below. Alaska Photo Contest Rules...Photos must be submitted by email to photos@alaskatravel.com in a jpeg (.jpg) format, with a maximum file size 3 mb. All entries must be received by October 31, 2012 and the Grand Prize will be awarded by November 30, 2012. Each entrant may submit up to 5 photos. Each photo must be an original photo personally taken by the entrant in Alaska. Photos from previous Alaska Travel Photo contests cannot be re-submitted. Entries will be judged by a committee made up of Alaska Tour & Travel management and staff. Criteria will include the overall quality of the photo of Alaska, and how well the photo captures the essence or experience of travel in Alaska. All photos entered in contest will become property of Alaska Tour & Travel, and will not be returned. The entrant of the photos grants Alaska Tour & Travel the right to display the photos online, and to use the photos in print or online marketing. Select entries will be displayed on AlaskaTravelPhotos.com. This may include a brief description of the photo along with the entrant's first name, last initial and hometown. Questions?
