Experience the ice-age as you fly over Denali National Park and the heart of the Alaska Range. Your trip begins with a short transfer from your Denali hotel to the Healy Airport, located roughly 12 miles north of the Denali Park entrance area. As your flight departs you will fly across the Outer Range Mountains - low, rounded ridges home to Dall sheep, wolves, and caribou. Next you are over the heart of Denali National Park, and fly across the near jagged spine of the central Alaska Range with massive walls of rock and ice. You will see glacier moraines, mile-long piles of rocky rubble scrubbed from the mountains through which the glaciers pass. Your skilled pilot will land at one of Mt. McKinley's glacier landing areas, and step out onto the ice with you to take in the awesome surroundings. On your return flight take in even more views of Mt. McKinley, and look for climbers toiling up the knife-edged snow ridges toward the summit.

Plan for about 3.5 hours total for this tour, including transfers, flight time and 20 to 30 minutes on the glacier. This tour is provided using a small single engine bush plane. All guests will have a window seat and interactive head set to communicate with the pilot who will provide narration during the flight.

Please bring along a light jacket and wear comfortable, closed toed shoes. Don't forget your camera and plenty of film.

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply.
