Experience Denali National Park and Denali State Park with spectacular views of the Alaska Range. Travel by helicopter over numerous glaciers covering the high mountain peaks and the vast south slope of Denali, known as the Great One. On this adventure you get to view the granite monolith known as Moose’s Tooth as you pass areas that intimidate even seasoned climbers. Then head south to the Alaska Range over the Buckskin Glacier and land at a glacier overlook. Re-board your helicopter after 15 minutes of exploring for a return flight by way of the Chulitna River. Keep an eye out for moose and bear. Tour route may vary due to weather conditions. This tour is approximately 65 minutes long, including landing. Allow two hours with transfers and safety briefing. There is an additional charge for guests weighing 250 pounds or more, ask your reservation agent for details. Please note this tour departs from the ERA South Denali Park heliport located just north of the McKinley Princess Lodge at mile 134 of the Parks Highway. The heliport is roughly 45 miles north of Talkeetna and 100 south of the Denali National Park entrance.
