Kayak Kenai Fjords National Park

Searching for that up-close and personal Alaska whale watching, tidewater glacier viewing and sea kayaking experience? This is the trip for you! A full day grand adventure combining a cruise on a 40 foot vessel out to Kenai Fjords National Park and guided kayaking adventure among the glaciers in Aialik Bay. In route enjoy the views and opportunities to see marine wildlife such as whales, seals and puffins. Enjoy a bakery lunch on board amidst Kenai Fjords National Park, and then launch the kayaks for an afternoon of paddling amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in coastal Alaska. Watch Holgate Glacier calve while enjoying the serenity of the wilderness from your kayak. Crackling icebergs, towering glaciers and wildlife encounters will bedazzle your senses on this guided wilderness paddle through the icebergs of Holgage Arm. Instruction is provided by experienced guides. Whales and weather can effect your arrival time back into Seward.

Minimum age is 12 years old.

What To Wear

Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes. The operator provides kayaking equipment, tandem kayaks, instruction, a knowledgeable naturalist guide, rubber boots, pogies and dry bags. Please dress in warm layers (cotton and denim jeans not recommended), bring a warm hat, gloves, jacket and pants, warm socks, water bottle, binoculars and camera.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
