Kenai Fjords Resurrection Bay with Fox Island Lunch

Enjoy a stop at the Fox Island Day Lodge along with Resurrection Bay! This four and one-half hour wildlife and natural history cruise of Resurrection Bay travels approximately 50 miles round-trip and includes a stop at the exclusive Fox Island day lodge for a grilled salmon and prime rib lunch. Your stop at Fox Island includes a presentation by a National Park Ranger and time to explore the "skipping stone" beach before cruising Resurrection Bay. Learn about the rich history of the area during this fully-narrated tour. Explore the cliffs and coves of Resurrection Bay, view marine wildlife, colorful seabirds, along with alpine and piedmont glaciers. Custom sightseeing vessels offer multi-level walk-around viewing decks as well as warm, spacious inside seating with large picture windows and on board restrooms. This shorter tour is perfect for families and just the right length to allow time for other activities in Seward. Your trip will depart from the Kenai Fjords Tours office at the Seward Small Boat Harbor. Please check in one hour prior to departure. Check at your hotel front desk for transportation options to and from the Small Boat Harbor.

What To Wear

Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes. Even on warm summer days, temperatures can be cool on the boat when it is underway or stopped at a glacier. For this event, please also bring comfortable walking shoes and a jacket or rain gear that can shield you from light wind or rain.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
