Prince William Sound Explorer Glacier Cruise

With the highest concentration of glaciers in Alaska, the icy waters of Prince William Sound are an easy day trip from Anchorage. Spend an afternoon cruising through glacier-carved fjords and experience the untamed wilderness and calm waters of Prince William Sound. Visit a working salmon hatchery. View the tidewater glaciers of Harriman Fjord. Discover the waterfalls and inlets of Esther Passage. This six-hour cruise into Prince William Sound travels approximately 100 miles round-trip. Enjoy a delicious Alaskan king crab cake lunch on board as you view the abundant marine wildlife and learn about the natural history of the area. Stable, custom sightseeing vessels are designed with your comfort in mind, with spacious heated cabins, large windows, indoor seating, a snack bar and restrooms. The vessels have walk-around viewing decks perfect for photographing sea otters, harbor seals, whales and other marine wildlife you can see from the boat. Don't forget your camera!

What To Wear

Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes. For this event, please also bring comfortable walking shoes and a jacket that can shield you from light wind or rain. If you are planning to be on an outside deck, a warm hat and pair of gloves are helpful. Don't forget your camera and binoculars for the many photo opportunities along the way.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
