Copper River Scenic Float Raft Trip

Enjoy an easy class II float on remote sections of the Gulkana and Copper Rivers bordering mountain vistas of the Wrangell St. Elias National Park. Float by established bald eagle nesting sites and fish wheels in action, all while in view of the major peaks of the Wrangell Mountains. Learn about the natural history of the area while keeping an eye open for bald eagles, moose and bear that frequent the shore. Suitable for all ages 5 years and up! No experience necessary. Rubber boots, rain gear, life jackets, drink and snack are provided. The length of the trip may vary depending on the water level fluctuations and time of year. Return transportation to Copper River Princess Lodge is included.

What To Wear

Due to unpredictable Alaskan weather, we advise dressing in layers, which will allow you to stay warm and dry as the outdoor environment changes.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 30% of services reserved is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days prior to your first day of travel. The following change and cancellation fees apply. Between 45 to 31 days prior to your first day of travel a 10% cancel/change fee will apply. Between 30 to 15 days prior to your first day of travel a 50% cancel/change fee will apply. Within 14 days of travel, your package is non-refundable and non-changeable. Because we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation or change policies for any reason, including family and medical emergencies, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
