Norwegian Sun NB

Day 1

Positioned between the snow-dusted North Shore Mountains and the rich, blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver blends big-city sophistication with small-town charm. Don't miss Queen Elizabeth Park, a 130-acre civic arboretum accented with sculptures by modern artist Henry Moore. Embark Vancouver, BC Canada

Day 2

Alaska's Inside Passage is awash with pristine water mountain views. A cruise among the fjords and islands takes you into prime habitat for bald eagles, sea lions, and whales. The Inside Passage is home to the totem poles of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian Indians, and Russian setters, as well as prospectors, lumberjacks, and fishermen. All have added to the tapestry of this area's history. Cruise the Inside Passage.

Day 3

Its Tlingit Indian name, Kach Khanna, means "spread wings of the eagle." Chances are you'll see one of these magnificent birds perched atop a Sitka tree. Thanks to its abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is surrounded by some of the world's most lush wilderness. Port of call Ketchikan.

Day 4

Juneau has been called "Alaska's peak experience", certainly due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Kayak up one of the area's many protected waterways, go flightseeing, tour historic downtown or try your hand at panning for gold. Port of call Juneau.

Day 5

In a single year from 1896 to 1897, this remote town along the Inside Passage grew from a few tents to a city of 20,000 gold seekers. Today, travelers come in search of other riches, to experience yesteryear along Skagway's charming boardwalk lined with buildings that replicate those Gold Rush days. Port of call Skagway.

Day 6

Glacier Bay was originally discovered by John Muir in 1879 and was proclaimed a U.S. national monument in 1925. The world's largest protected marine sanctuary, Glacier Bay National Park Preserve has become one of the most popular points of interest for visitors to Alaska. Located in the southeast region, near the capitol city of Juneau, the park includes 16 tidewater glaciers, 30 valley glaciers and a surrounding area of 3.3 million acres, attracting not only tourists wishing to catch a calving glacier up close and personal, but geologists and scientists interested in studying what are thought to be the fastest moving glaciers in the world. Cruise Glacier Bay

Day 7

Hubbard Glacier originates in the St. Elias Mountains in Canada and flows a full 76 miles before terminating in Yakutat Bay, Alaska. This is one of the fastest moving glaciers in Alaska, as well as the longest tidewater glacier. Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Day 8

Best known for its beautiful parks and mountain scenery, Seward, Alaska is not to be missed. Disembark Seward Alaska.
