Summer Train Schedule Updates
The Alaska Railroad has revised their schedule for the Denali Star train for the summer of 2021. The Denali Star runs between Anchorage and Fairbanks with stops in Talkeetna and Denali Park. It will still operate seven days a week during the summer, but service is limited to one direction* Monday through Saturday.
- Northbound Service | Anchorage to Fairbanks | May 29 to September 11: Operates on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- Southbound Service | Fairbanks to Anchorage | May 30 to September 12: Operates on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
*Daily transportation is still available in both directions between Anchorage and Denali Park by combining the train and Park Connection Motorcoach.
