Alaska's wow-factor, it's one thing you can always count on. That's why for 2023 we've added a few new activities, tours, and lodging so that you can experience even more of that Alaska awe.

  • Mush Your Own Dog Sled - New for winter travelers! From Anchorage take a trip to Talkeetna where you'll meet sled dogs at the famous Seavey kennel and learn to mush your own team. The tour's highlight is a six-mile run with your sled dog team. This tour is available from February to early April.
  • Alaska Crafted Cruise Transfer - Seward to Anchorage - From Seward's shoreline to the city of Anchorage, explore the Alaska craft beverage scene and take a cruise transfer all in one. Along the way you'll make stops at Girdwood Brewing, Anchorage Distillery, and Double Shovel Cider Company. The tour/transfer includes lunch, tastings, and knowledgeable driver/guide.
  • Tonsina Point Kayak & Exploration - Spend seven splendid hours exploring Resurrection Bay by boat and beach on this family-friendly kayaking excursion from Seward. The experience includes about three to five miles of kayaking and one mile of walking, with time to explore a ghost forest, tidal pools, spawning salmon, and even a hidden waterfall when the tide is right.
  • Seward Car Rentals - By popular demand! In 2023 you'll have the option to rent a vehicle in Seward. This includes the standard pick up and drop in Seward as well as one-way rentals between Seward and Anchorage. This option is perfect for cruisers considering a separate pre-cruise or post-cruise land package. Availability is limited for these vehicles, book sooner rather than later!
  • Seward Deluxe City Tour - See Seward's highlights and learn its storied history on this city tour with convenient pickup at the train depot. Highlights include Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park, the Alaska Sealife Center, and stops at historic sites around Seward. Lunch is also included.
  • Courtyard Marriot - Newest lodging offering in Anchorage! Close to the airport and especially convenient for a final overnight before a flight out in the morning.
  • Hatcher Pass History & Hike - Brand new Anchorage day tour taking you to an hour out of town to beautiful Hatcher Pass. Tour Independence Mine State Historic Park, take a mellow alpine hike, and try your hand at gold panning.
