Nicknamed "The Bake" by locals, Fairbanks' Alaskan Salmon Bake has been serving hearty Alaskan fare since 1979. This family-owned eatery uses recipes handed down through four generations of Alaskan home cooks, with a talent for simply satisfying dishes and warm hospitality.

Dinner at the Alaska Salmon Bake includes Alaskan entrees and a fresh salad and sides bar. Those entrees include grilled wild Alaskan salmon brushed with a secret sauce, beer battered Alaskan cod, and juicy slow roasted prime rib. For salads and sides, guests have their pick of seven delicious options, including fresh greens, roasted potatoes, mac and cheese, potato and pasta salads, and hot sourdough rolls. Guests can enjoy their meals indoors in the R.C. Wood Dining Hall or, on warm summer evenings, outside among the birch trees and flower beds.
After dinner, guests can visit Stroecker's Dessert & Coffee Cabin for a sweet treat. The Bake dishes up vanilla sponge cake with two berry compote toppings, lemon bars, and a rich chocolate "moose."
The Alaska Salmon Bake Fairbanks serves dinner from 5 to 9 PM. The dining hall is in Pioneer Park.
