Fairbanks may not be as large of a transportation hub as Anchorage, but it is still relatively easy to travel to or from Fairbanks by plane, train, and car.

Fairbanks has an international airport and several major carriers operate flights to Alaska from the continental United States. Alaska Airlines also offers a number of convenient flights each day between Fairbanks and Anchorage. Many of our guests start their land tours in Anchorage, arriving by air or cruise from Vancouver, then tour north and fly home from Fairbanks. The reverse of this itinerary is a great option as well. The Alaska Railroad offers scenic service between Fairbanks and Denali National Park, Talkeetna, and Anchorage on board the Denali Star train. In addition to the railroad, we also book van service from Fairbanks to Denali Park and Denali Park to Fairbanks.
