- Park Connection Bus Whittier to Seward
Overview
It's about 88 miles from Whittier to Seward, a route with some of the prettiest highway views in Southcentral Alaska. This efficient cruise transfer starts with a trip through a two-mile tunnel that takes you from the coast and under a mountain into Portage Valley. From here the route skirts the Turnagain Arm before turning onto the Kenai Peninsula, winding through mountains, and ending waterside once again in Seward.
Some of the prettiest highway views in Southcentral Alaska.
The Park Connection operates one trip daily between Whittier and Seward. The motorcoach departs from the Whittier cruise docks and drops passengers off at either the Seward Windsong Lodge or Gateway Hotel.
This transfer is handy for travelers disembarking from a cruise in Whittier and starting on a land trip in Seward. It allows those travelers to skip an extra trip into Anchorage along the way.
