- Seward Helicopter Kenai Fjords National Park Flight
Overview
Seward is a beautiful place with natural wonders to admire in every direction. Those wonders go from wow-worthy to awe inspiring when seen from the air. The peaks are taller, glaciers vaster, and wilderness seemingly endless. It's just what guests will experience on this 30-minute Seward flightseeing tour.
Peaks are taller, glaciers vaster, and wilderness seemingly endless.
The tour begins at the Seward airport. Loaded up and buckled in, as the helicopter smoothly takes off it's clear that no seat has a bad view. Quickly the landscape is revealed, with scoured glacial valleys laced by braided rivers framed by jagged ridgelines that go for miles and miles.
The route will depend on the conditions, but guests are often treated to stunning aerial views of Bear Glacier as the flight loops into Kenai Fjords National Park. From here the flight path continues up Resurrection Bay where whale, bear, and even mountain goat sightings are common. After this remarkable circuit, the heli flightseeing trip ends back in Seward.
