I small town Seward it can sometimes be a wait for seating at any of the great local restaurants. Skip the dinner rush and enjoy a leisurely glacier-side meal on this evening cruise. The tour departs the Small Boat Harbor at 3 PM.

Leaving the harbor, you'll head out into Resurrection Bay where right away it's likely you'll spot wildlife: Harbor seals, sea otters, seabirds, and Dall porpoises among many others. The views are remarkable too, with craggy spires and tall mountains bordering the deep blue bay water. Rounding the boundary island nearing the Gulf Alaska, the stable catamaran once again finds protected waters in Aialik Bay.
It's at the back of this waterway, at the toe of a tidewater glacier, that dinner is served. After three courses, it's time to get underway again, retracing the route, with hopefully a bonus whale sighting (or two!) on the return to Seward. You'll dock back in the harbor at about 9 PM.
Dinner includes three courses. The first course offers a choice between a seafood crab cake or falafel salad. Main course options include glazed salmon, braised beef short ribs, or a sweet potato coconut curry. Dessert features a flourless chocolate torte. Vegan and gluten free options available. The menu is subject to change. Drinks available for purchase.
To make the most of views and fresh air on the exterior decks, it is important to bring in layers. Pack a rain jacket, hat, and gloves. Wear warm base layers and rubber-soled shoes. Even on a sunny day, the air coming off a glacier can be quite chilly. Be sure to bring a camera and binoculars. If seasickness is a concern, air on the side of caution and take motion sickness medicine.
Check in at the tour office in the Small Boat Harbor one hour prior to departure.
Most local hotels provide shuttle service to the Small Boat Harbor. The tour operator will provide directions to a free all-day parking lot for self-drivers.
