Most Alaska travelers find themselves with down time in Anchorage, often after flying in or before a late-night flight out. There's so much to see in Alaska's largest city, from the dramatic mountain scenery at our doorstep to urban trails frequented by wildlife to favorite foodie hotspots. With a private guided tour you can see it all...or at least a lot of it.

Half-Day and Full-Day Anchorage Tours

Alaska Tour & Travel offers two Anchorage private tour options, half day or full day.

  • Anchorage Half-Day Tour | 4 Hours
Take in the highlights of Anchorage. Visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center. See bush planes come and go from the busy Lake Hood Seaplane Base. Head to Potter Marsh for some wildlife photography. Want to squeeze in a short hike or meal stop? Your guide is there to coordinate your ideal half day.
  • Anchorage Full-Day Tour | 8 Hours
Add onto your Anchorage-area sightseeing with a drive down Turnagain Arm to Girdwood and Portage. You can also head north to see the Independence Mine State Historical Park in beautiful Hatcher Pass, or adventure even farther to see (or even walk on) the stunning Matanuska Glacier.

All private guided tours accommodate up to eight guests. Your group can choose to start/end in either Anchorage or Girdwood. Tours include your own driver-guide and transportation via Mercedes Sprinter Van. Admission fees and food not included.
