Fly into Ted Stevens International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight Anchorage.
Board the southbound Coastal Classic train for Seward in the morning. The rail route follows the Turnagain Arm, skirting past glaciers, through river valleys, and over mountain passes. You'll arrive in time to board a spacious catamaran for a day cruise to Kenai Fjords National Park.
Today you'll stay on land to explore more of Kenai Fjords National Park on a guided naturalist hike. Your destination is Exit Glacier, one of the few road-accessible glaciers in Alaska.
It's back to the water on a iceberg kayak tour of Bear Glacier lagoon. After a private water taxi ride through Resurrection Bay, you'll spend two hours paddling among the bright blue icebergs in a lagoon at the toe of Bear Glacier. After your return boat ride, enjoy a final night in Seward
Leave Seward this morning for a ride back to Anchorage aboard the Park Connection Motorcoach. The highway follows a different route than the train did. Plus, it's been named a National Scenic Byway for good reason: The drive is a beautiful one.
