Travel Agent Commission Policy
We can provide travel agent commission on the following products either booked within a package, or individually:
Alaska Escorted Tours
Escorted tours are a great choice for those who want an experienced guide available to answer questions and look after trip details. Some meals are included in the escorted tours. Many of our guests that choose escorted tours like the idea of getting to know the same group of fellow travelers over the course of their tour. Our escorted tour packages are provided in partnership with a local Alaska company who specializes exclusively in operating Alaska escorted tour programs. We only offer "guaranteed departures", which means you don't need to worry about a tour departure being cancelled due to low sales, a common problem with other escorted tour providers. Many of the tours can be arranged so they meet up nicely with a cruise from Whittier or Seward. The following are our three most popular escorted tour series, you can also see more details here.
>> Grand Alaska Escorted Tour. We offer both a nine day and ten day version of this popular tour featuring Valdez, Fairbanks, Denali National Park and Anchorage. Highlights include the Alaska Railroad, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Columbia Glacier, Riverboat Discovery, Trans-Alaska Pipeline, Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Prince William Sound.
>> Alaska Explorer Tour. We offer both a six day and seven day version of this land tour featuring Fairbanks, Denali National Park and Anchorage. Highlights include the Alaska Railroad, Denali Park Tundra Wilderness Tour, Alaska Native Heritage Center and the Riverboat Discovery.
>> Alaska National Parks Tour. This is an eight day trip which begins and end in Anchorage and travels to Denali National Park, Talkeetna as well Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park. Highlights include a dome car trip on the Alaska Railroad, the Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali Park, and a glacier and wildlife cruise to Kenai Fjords National Park.
The Alaska Railroad offers daily summer service to Fairbanks, Denali Park, Talkeetna, Anchorage, Whittier, Seward and other destinations along those routes. On most runs they offer two levels of service, the standard or Adventure class and the GoldStar Dome cars. Be sure to check our train finder page as well as our schedule and rates page for more details. Alaska Tour & Travel is proud to be Alaska's largest reseller of Alaska Railroad seats. If you are looking for a cruise transfer to Whittier or Seward the railroad can be a great choice. For most trips, we highly recommend you combine the railroad in one direction with a motorcoach trip on the other. You will get all the splendor of the train trip, but save time, money and get a different viewpoint on your motorcoach trip as well. Please note that we also offer travel agent commission on two private dome railcar companies that operate on the Alaska Railroad... the Wilderness Express and the McKinley Explorer.
Park Connection Motorcoach
The Alaska Park Connection Motorcoach offers twice daily summer coach service between Anchorage and Denali Park or Seward, including same day connecting service between Denali Park, Talkeetna, Anchorage and Seward. We also offer service between Anchorage and Whittier on cruise ship days. Check out our schedule and rates page, or read for more information about the Park Connection. A return trip on the Park Connection complements a one way trip via railroad to Denali or Seward and is an excellent value for independent travelers to Alaska.
Please note, on the remaining products listed below, we occasionally offer discounted specials that are not commissionable. These are clearly marked with the word "special" on our website and confirmations. Please be sure to ask our staff if you have any questions about which products are eligible for travel agent commission.
