There are more than 35 craft breweries scattered throughout Alaska, from as far south as Juneau, to as far north as Fairbanks. The biggest group of brewers are centrally located in Anchorage. This afternoon tour takes beer lovers on a guided tasting circuit through three of the city's finest breweries.

Guests get a behind the scenes look at each stop, often meeting the owners and brewmasters in charge of concocting the newest beers. Each place has its own distinctive origin story and style. Some prefer no frills brewing, others are experimental. All have something tasty to offer.
Along the way, the tour's knowledgeable and rather entertaining "Hoperator" guide gives a background on the craft beer boom in Alaska, sharing stories about the industry's development, and the many characters who made beer in Alaska big. After three stops, a minimum of 14 beer tastings, and perfectly timed snack at Midnight Sun Brewing Company, guests return to their pickup point in downtown Anchorage.

The Anchorage Brews Tour provides roundtrip van transportation, a driver/guide, and tastings at three local Anchorage breweries. The tour runs a maximum of 12 guests per trip for a more relaxed, personalized experience.
