As your cruise concludes your land adventure begins. Today you'll travel from Whittier to the Denali Park area aboard the Park Connection, a deluxe motorcoach service. The trip includes a midday stop in downtown Anchorage. Overnight Denali.

The stunning contrast of Alaska's diverse landscapes comes into clear focus today as you venture into Denali National Park. You'll travel on a modified school bus with driver-guide who narrates throughout the tour, enriching your experience with their breadth of Denali Park knowledge. It's not uncommon to spot wildlife on this tour: Dall sheep, grizzly bears, caribou, birds of prey, foxes, and even wolves. Overnight Denali.

The morning begins guided trip to a nearby kennel home to Iditarod sled dogs and their musher. Between puppy cuddles and dog demos you'll learn all about mushing culture in Alaska.

Afterwards head to the Denali Depot for the midday departure of the Denali Star train. Onboard hosts in your car will point out landmarks along the route, so keep your ears perked and your camera ready. You especially don't want to miss the soaring Hurricane Gulch bridge. The package concludes with a final overnight in Anchorage.
