With two full days in Denali National Park, this Alaska vacation package gives travelers especially interested in the park's landscapes and wildlife more time in the area. The itinerary features a guided bus trip into the park and a mild mid-morning raft trip the following day, leaving an afternoon free for independent exploration. Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to your downtown hotel by courtesy shuttle. Shops, restaurants, parks, and even a popular salmon fishery are all within walking distance of the hotel. Overnight Anchorage.

Arrive at the Anchorage Depot for an early morning train ride south to Seward. Along what's often called the most scenic stretch of railway in Alaska, you'll enjoy onboard narration by car hosts and have access to a well-stocked bistro car for morning refreshments. After the train pulls into the Seward Depot. Visit the Alaska SeaLife Center this afternoon. Overnight Seward.

Your tour today is bound for Kenai Fjords National Park by way of Resurrection Bay with a quick turn through the Gulf of Alaska. While under way, you'll see an array of marine life, plus craggy coastal scenery and some of Alaska's astounding glaciers. Lunch is included. Enjoy a final night in Seward after your return to the Small Boat Harbor.

After breakfast at the hotel, catch the Park Connection Motorcoach headed north. Since the train and highway follow different paths for much of the route back to Anchorage, the scenery from the coach is new and equally beautiful. The Park Connection makes a rest stop in Anchorage before continuing north to your lodging for the night. Overnight Talkeetna.

Keep your fingers crossed for clear weather this morning: You're heading on a scenic flight into the Alaska Range. The flight takes off from the Talkeetna Airport and travels some 60 miles into the rugged landscape surrounding North America's largest mountain. Afterwards, you'll once again board the Park Connection Motorcoach for a transfer to your hotel in the Denali Park area. Overnight Denali.

Having flown into Denali National Park on Day 5, today you will see an entirely different side of the park by road. A driver-guide narrates throughout the bus tour. Keep an eye out for bears, moose, caribou, and other park animals along the way. Overnight Denali.

Start the morning right with a scenic raft trip down the Nenana River. The rest of the afternoon is free. Take a hike, explore the visitor center. The options are many. In the evening you're off on a fun sled dog kennel tour and demonstration. Overnight Denali.

Before leaving the Denali area, you'll spend the morning on a zipline adventure. The Denali Park Zipline has half a mile of exhilarating zips, bridges, and ladders with some pretty great forest and mountain views for good measure. After this exciting morning, the trip package concludes with a dome train ride back to Anchorage.
